Ken Suen was born and raised in Hong Kong. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. During his university study, he was part of a joint university organisation for promoting live music. He develops an interest in both music and photography. After he graduated, he became a freelance photographer. Then, he travelled to the United State to further his pursue for music, studying the bass performance program in the Los Angeles College of Music and graduated in 2018. He has since worked as a bass player and educator in Hong Kong, engaging with projects like Ensemble Transience
